Giving Thanks

I’ve been spending the last few days contemplating all the things I am thankful for in lieu of Thanksgiving and I’ve come to the conclusion that I should consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world. No I don’t have a bank account with unlimited amounts of money, or designer shoes, but I’m happy. And I should be so thankful for that. I have a family who loves me unconditionally, friends who I can call about any problem and the solution always comes in the form of wine and cheese. I have a job I enjoy going to every day and always enough food in my fridge. I’m thankful for every person I’ve crossed paths with, good or bad; you’ve made me a better friend, daughter, sister, and you’ve opened my eyes to the person I want to be. Now let’s eat!
